The King's Yomen Skits

The Adam Skit

Adam Skit

Description

This skit is meant to show Christ as the new Adam. Over the song we have overlaid several biblical passages to make the skit more clear. God creates man and breathes life into him (the yo-yo is life). Man is tempted by Satan and falls (takes the sunglasses but loses his yo-yo). God becomes man. Unlike Adam, Christ resists the devil. Christ then takes the sin and punishment of mankind on himself (the sunglasses). Christ comes back to life and gives Adam (mankind) back his yo-yo (new life). The two finish the skit together yo-yoing simultaneously.

Devil Tempting

Verses

Romans 5:12, 15b Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned... how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, over flow to the many.

Simultaneous Yo-yoing

What's the Point?

We use this skit to illustrate the gospel. However, it is very important to us that the gospel is heard and not merely seen in dramatic form. Consequently, we always share Christ verbally after this skit. It is our goal to make the work and love of Christ as clear as possible.
